“Strawberry Fields Forever”- just as the famous lyrics of the great band “the Beatles”. The fruit itself will be forever being a favorite tasty treat for everyone. This Fruit comes from the family Rosaceae, did you know that scientist don’t consider this as a fruit but a false fruit.

It first originated in the European continent and for some accident or let’s says blessed twist of fate spread across the upper part of the United States of America. This simply indicates that the fruit actually is not from the plants ovaries but the part that houses the ovaries.

We also have wines from this, they ferment the fruit and it comes out as a very nice alcoholic drink. Strawberry is enjoyed in many ways. It is usually eaten as it is just washed it chill and ready to serve. Some like it as a milk shake the blend it and put some milk and ice and then viola instant treat. You can avail it at stores around you and know what I mean. It is very nutritious it contains vitamin b, vitamin c and even calcium. Truly a treat that is also healthy.

The Green show Affair is an annual event that caters for the promotion of Earth Day and environmental care and significance. Green Show this year has several unique offerings that would not only excite the spectators but contribute more to their advocacies as well.

The Green Shows includes a lot of offerings and one of them is the Green Music Nights. This event features local bands and artists of the music scene of Center Valley, all gathered to share their talents and join in the festivity. These bands are not just any band but those who are personally handpicked by the organizers because of their unique contributions to the environment. They will sing their newest records which include Song of the Environment and taking care of Mother Earth.

The event will also feature several talented artists that will share their talents in the field of Fine Arts. In the event, galleries will be put up in different medium such as watercolor, acrylic and oil- all artworks depicting planet care.

Moms and Dads will gain a lot of knowledge by attending the “Green is IN” seminar which features healthy options of living green within the family. Kids have a place to for the Green Show. They can attend the free art classes and partake in the instructors’ lessons on making great looking artworks. There will be bazaars that feature recycled materials for everyone to enjoy.

I still find it fulfilling to go out and see my favorite movie in a big movie screen. People on all over the world commonly enjoy having dinners and movies. We all love to share it with our Friends and family. I for one loves to go to the movies even at the dawn of Blu ray disc and DVD’s accompanied by mind racking sound systems. And what best way o end it with a good dinner having a good glass of beer and wine

Do you know that beer is the oldest alcoholic drink around? It has taken on many forms and tastes. Beer and Wine has always been part of our parties and festivals. It’s even a part of our relaxing evening night watch. It helps us relax and assist us in releasing the stress we picked up in a very stressful day of work in the office.

It has been enjoyed by mostly the male population. While wine is a type of alcoholic drink that comes from fermented fruit. It is usually enjoyed and taken with minimum amount of alcohol aimed just to loosen a stress body up. At the right content it is also considered healthy for the heart.

This coming August 01, 2009 there will be a wine tasting event that will be held by Jennifer in Parkville. A lot of premium alcoholic drinks will be available to grace a wine tasters mouth.

McDonalds have always been a symbol of fun and good food for kids and all ages. But McDonald’s has a heart for the children enjoying its playing amenities and food. I remember when I was a kid our destination after we go to church is McDonalds. My Sunday won’t be completed by my favorite kiddies meal. I would frolic and have fun on its playground until my grandparents would call me off to go home.

It is an experience that is now imprinted and a big part of my youth. I remember the joy I felt just realizing that it is already Saturday and tomorrow will be a Sunday. In my mind I would say its McDonalds day again! This is for a fact a common thinking for all kids and kids at heart. We had always enjoyed McDonalds as an established institution of fun and good fast food

The place where the event will be held is planned to be filled with a lot of playthings. A fun filled day of fun is coming at the McDonalds kids’ day. Sandboxes, a lot of slides, plastic ball pools and a lot more are to be expected. Games are also expected and prices will also be there. Colorful playgrounds will fill the kid’s eyes and even tickle the kid in you. Everyone is invited and registration to enter will be very easy.

All the games and attractions are free, and the prizes are fun. The event will be for children from 4 years of age up to 12 years old. Just fill up the form in the registration table and they will pin you a lapel and there you go. They say that no one is to leave empty handed and that is a promise.

The Cinderella show at Center Valley is a twelve day musical theatre period showing the fairytale many people both young and old loved. It is a theatre musical for the kids and kids at heart. Young ones will surely enjoy seeing their favorite characters come to life in this one of a kind musical that will bring nostalgia to the audience and spectators.

She is an orphan who was forced into house slavery by her stepmother and stepsisters when her father suddenly died, leaving them all with a huge debt. Who would not forget the story about the poor but kind hearted Cinderella? To be able to get even and because of the obvious affection that his father shows to Cinderella over the stepsisters, hatred developed between the two parties that resulted in her being forced into slavery.

All is about to end when Cinderella accidentally met Prince Charming, the sole heir to the kingdom’s throne. She was invited to the ball where the Prince will choose her partner for life. Having nothing to wear, Cinderella’s fairy godmother appeared and gave her a lavish ride and fabulous gown all in a condition that she must return by 12 midnight or else everything will be gone and reverted in its original state. Prince had developed a love at first sight over Cinderella and her beautiful face and kind heart.

Prince got hold of the glass slippers and searched the whole kingdom to find the owner who is his true love. Cinderella and Prince danced the night away but as soon as the clock stroke 12, she ran away leaving off her glass slippers. After days of searching, the glass slippers found its owner through Cinderella and they lived happily ever after.

Summeris the season that comes after spring. It is one of the most awaited times of the year. Summer is the season for the great outdoors. People are having more activities and fun during this time of the year. This season is the best time to explore the outdoors and be involved in many activities. It is the best time to book for a family getaway. Summer is simply pure fun under the heat of the sun!

Every year families either got o the beach or the nearby resort to beat the summer heat. Kids have fun frolicking in the sand while adults feel it is the time to get that golden and awesome tan. Beaches and lakeshore places such as Florida and Miami flock with tourists, their hotels get booked early in advanced. Truly, summer is the season where people just lay back and enjoy what nature has to offer.

Aside from all of the activities mentioned above, summer is also the season for Summer shows just as Spring is to spring shows. Summer shows are events usually held at beaches or places where the summer crowd gathers.

For the past year’s summer show I was entitled to watch a concert by my favorite band at the beachfront. It was truly a very memorable experience as the sound of my favorite songs and the sound of the waves all come together. The summer show also featured kiosks and bazaars where the proprietors sell the newest trend/ fashion in beach and swim wear. That was the place where I was able to grab my favorite Sarong with dolphin design.

Being at a summer show is like being carefree and not minding the cares of the world. It makes me have pure and simple fun with my best comrades and lifetime friends!

What I am about to share to you know is the Fantastic Fridays event at Hollywood, Florida. This exciting event comprises of a lot of fun and engaging activities.

Residents usually try to carry on the fantastic and festive spirit by letting their kids in on some of the activities. Kids from near and far usually are the ones who benefit from the festive mood. The event will be done at Hollywood where we all know by now, is the place where a lot of actors and actresses live. Every Friday, downtown Hollywood is transformed into a magical fairytale kingdom, a Jungle Safari adventure, a futuristic cyber place and Victorian flair.

For the fairytale scheme, the parade usually consists of kids in costumes of their favorite fairytale characters. Some of the activities include a costume party for the kids. Parents try to don their precious jewels in cute and adorable costume outfits and join the parade. We often see Snow White, Cinderella and Beauty in their adorable princess-like outfits.

The futuristic theme has a built in amusement for the whole kids to enjoy. This is truly an event to remember where kids will have fun in their own made up world. It consists of rollercoaster rides and Buzz Lightyear mascots circling the event area for photo ops with lucky and delighted kids.

I urge parents of active kids out there to attend this one of a kind festival. Make this a trip and a day to remember. Remember that the smile and laughter from your kid’s lips is priceless. Make your kids happy and the whole family as well.

Summer is the time for fun. Not just ordinary fun, it is fun under the heat of the sun. Summertime is the favourite season amongst many kids: No school, longer days, and lots of running around outdoors. School breaks for the summer and it is always the best time to plan a family get away.

For most children summer means more outdoor activities, swimming, camping, bike riding etc. For parents this is the time for being extra on guard in keeping their kids safe and healthy. Keeping the family safe is one of the major concerns summer brings.

Family safety is a 24/7 job. During the rest of the year, most kids come to emergency rooms for illness or some infective disease, but during summer, kids are rushed to the hospital because of accidental injuries. Due to some unavoidable circumstances, professionals have come up with lots of safety tips for parents.

Staying long hours under the sun might cause sunburns and skin infections to kids. Some parents’ misapprehension is that they just grease their kids up the minute they get to the pool or beach. Fact is sunscreens take effects 20 minutes after the application. A smarter approach is that you put sunscreen before leaving the house and generously apply again every 2 hours. During beach and pool stay, never be sure enough to lull around and leave the kids alone. Even the best swimmers suffer tiredness and misjudge conditions.
