Take out a started roll from the roofing supplies purchased and apply it on the drip edge. Cover the entire spread of the drip edge while laying the started roll. The started roll layer prepares the roof surface for the installation of the roof felt. It renders the required adhesiveness to the surface.
Staple a roll of ice guard evenly on the roof surface. Some homeowners avoid the utilization of ice guard and instead, choose to felt the roof straightaway. However, a layer of ice guard is mandatory for the households located in hilly regions.
